Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PhotoBuns ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use PhotoBuns. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission.

Service Description

PhotoBuns provides browser-based image processing tools including compression, conversion, resizing, AI upscaling, background removal, and social media export. All processing occurs in your browser — we do not receive, store, or process your images on our servers.

Account Responsibilities

If you sign in with Google OAuth, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Free & Paid Tiers

Free users may process up to 5 images per day. Paid plans (Day Pass, Pro Monthly, Lifetime) provide unlimited processing. Payment is handled by Stripe. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your Stripe customer portal.

Refund Policy

• Day Pass: No refunds (immediate delivery of 24-hour access).
• Pro Monthly: Cancel anytime. No refunds for partial months.
• Lifetime: 7-day money-back guarantee from date of purchase.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PhotoBuns to:

• Process, distribute, or create illegal content of any kind
• Process child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Process or create non-consensual intimate imagery
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use the Service to develop a competing product
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

If you encounter illegal content or wish to report non-consensual intimate imagery, contact us at hello@photobuns.com and we will respond within 48 hours.

Your Content

You retain all rights to your images. Since images are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded to our servers, we have no access to or claim over your content. You are solely responsible for the content you process using the Service.

Intellectual Property

PhotoBuns, its logo, design, and underlying code are the property of PhotoBuns and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PhotoBuns is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoBuns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to data loss, image corruption, or loss of profits, arising from your use of the Service. Since all processing is client-side, results depend on your device's capabilities. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PhotoBuns and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability and indemnification) will survive.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in California. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

General

• Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PhotoBuns.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
